Let's pretend I'm ignorant. Easy, huh?

Can someone explain the 20 day rule for me in this case.

I've some pigs, that have not been here long. I want one of them to move again, it will be way longer than 20 days. However, during that 20 day period, some sheep have come on to my land. They are not in the same field, but the next one.

Do they have any impact on pig movement off my land? I'm assuming not, but feel I ought to check.

Look at Annex A, section 2a)

"The movement of a pig onto premises will trigger a 20 day standstill on any pigs, and a 6 day standstill on sheep, cattle or goats on thoses premises. The movement of cattle, sheep or goats onto premises on which one or more pigs is kept will trigger a 6 day standstill on those pigs"

I would say is is only the 6 day standstill that applies in your case.

Thank you!

Got a link, as I couldn't obviously find it, and as a part time pig wrangler, rather than a proper farmer, I don't have it anywhere...?
