He wont have any problem claiming financial hardship. Through no fault of his own, he was off the course for about 8 months. In that time, he had no income. Charges just snowballed, and they failed to stop standing orders he asked to be stopped. So month after month, he incurred charges for them as well.
He is now back on the course, and has a well paid job. The nice bank want to give him a consolidation loan, to clear his debts to them, They wont do even that for another few months, until he can prove regular income. In the meantime, they have generously "slowed" charges to a mere �150 a month. |
