Always a good series, and particularly apt with the passing of the last great Radio 1 DJ:

The story of the destruction of the old Radio One by Matthew Bannister and Trevor Dann. The station was known for its disc jockeys Dave Lee Travis, Simon Bates, Bruno Brooks and Gary Davies, but it became something completely different with the arrival of new superstar DJ Chris Evans.

Is this a repeat? Saw something similar before complete with DLT's on air resignation.

I saw it, and jolly good it was too. How I loved to see Simon Bates whinge, the self-righteous twat.

And another thing, what was Jimmy Young doing bleating on about being sacked at the age of 88 or whatever it was? I'm 33 and I've been made redundant 3 times!!!!!

Sorry about that. Trouble at the top, Blood on the Carpet, whichever it was, the one about the fight for the Bucks Fizz name was the best ever.

Simon Bates, I'd almost expunged him from my memory, where's the I'm going to die by bubonic plague icon?

And if JS isn't some kind of dirty perv then I'm the pope

Seeing as I'm a mod I'm in two minds about editing that last post, what do you think?
