Found first one yesterday under beach in woodland. (I nibbled it, it wasn't bitter). Went dark grey slowly after cutting.



Second found under silver birch in school field whilst dropping kids off this morning.

They look like Leccinum scabrum, The Brown Birch Bolete but old,maybe that's why they have turned grey when cut
