|
Recently rescued from a skip, and in jolly good nick considering, a book entitled 'Converting Junk', by Fiona Windrum, published in 1974. It's a hard cover, but a little book, with 217 pages. Still in the original dust jacket, no sign of any damage.
Basically it's a book about buying junk (say, a horrid old wardrobe) and converting it into good useful stuff (say, kitchen benches). Nice ideas for improvising sewing stations, plant pots, all sorts of stuff. Interesting, but I'll never use it.
Offer me something interesting for it. |
