Was just about to suggest going there!

The linky doesnt work as its missing an l at the end, added in my quote to get it to work.

We are thinking of trying some of Cabs chocolate recipes to give out at christmas and think cinder toffee might make it onto the list making it similar to the mint snaps.

Did you make it in an aluminium pan?

I can't get that link to work.

I used to make it at work to model pumice stone until the elf and safety mafia made it illegal.

Pour 1/2 a bag of white granulated sugar into a pan. Add a splash of water.

Heat until it all melts.

TAKE IT OFF THE HEAT (that's quite important)

Add a tablespoon of Sodium bicarbonate and stir like mad. It all swells and puffs up.

Pour into a lined tin and leave to cool. Smash up and use to stick teeth together.

Nope: haven't got any! I forgot I'd made it before.

That's great, I'm new here and I've wanted a recipe for 'Crunchie' for ages!
