Are there any other colour schemes available? I tried changing it in my profile and it didn't look any different. I often get sinus headaches and when I'm getting over one I can't read anything on a bright background. It's probably only me though, and I daresay you won't want me around all the time

It's better than having me around all the time

It's not that easy to redo the colours because there's a lot of formatting been done on this page. But we'll definitely look into it.

A very pale green would do it. I have to say that I struggle at night to use the site without my glasses

All I can say is damn I really thought I had got it right for once on colors.

We could play with alternative colors, by editing the css for the template on the mirror site.

Does anyone seriously have a clue though?. This is one area where I simply know that i'm badly qualified.

I had a look at the tutorial on PHP's site I reckon it's easy(ish) when you've done it once, I could possibly give it a go on the mirror

I know this is of no help whatsoever, but I like reading threads like these, even though I have rather less thana clue what you are talking about!
For waht it's worth, I quite like the green, but would be happy with whatever.

I hate threads like these

I know they are needed, and that people have every right and need to read forums without eye strain. But keeping everyone happy is a total nightmare.

I'd need to play for a bit but

input,textarea, select {
background-color: #ffffff;CCFF99

color : #000000;
font: normal 11px Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
border: 1px solid #000000;
}

.check {background-color: transparent; background-color: CCFF99
border-style: none;

Look like the two to change
