Does anybody fancy helping us out on fishing related stuff?

The fishing sections of the glossary, web links, and book recommendations are empty, and I know nothing about fishing

I offered to help on shooting and fishing (starting with the glossary) to Jema.

But I couldn't get my head around the admin page, then other things cropped-up etc etc.

Lets start again Tahir

Don't do it (glossary) through the admin page, it's much easier from the front page, we just need to add the categories, I'll do that today.

Web sites are easier from the admin page so if you've got any suggestions let me know and I'll put 'em up.

Thanks

Hokay...

But I'll still have to pick someone's brain on the admin side cos I'm just begging favours instead of doing much!

PM me when it's set up Tahir.

Thanks.

I think there are a lot of volenteers who could be send a raw article and pictures, say in word format, and do the leg work of putting it on the site.
I am always prepared to do that, it may of course take a little time, but it will get done.

Shame on you Jema, I thought you didn't like MS stuff! RTF format would be better as I've had to install Open Office to read an article.

I must accept that 99% of people will use word or works format files.

When I edit a glossary entry and save it it tells me it has saved the details but it doesn't save them! I've tried several times but it's not saving them.

Having looked at it, I can't see how shooting and fishing can be mixed in with wild food, damson, sloe and winchester short magnum???

I put WSM in the wild food section as it seemed the best place to put it. IT & Business or Livestock didn't seem right.

I've decided to try and put the odd entry in when I come across terms that I think might crop up and people might go 'whats a WSM?'

I've deleted it for know as I wanted to add a little description. I am more that happy (I would even prefer) if any of my descriptions are amended by more knowledgeable bods. DS, if you prefer I could batch up any shooting ones and PM you so as to not make mistakes.

Yeah that's fine. But you can see why they have to have their own headings. And why WSM (WMR comes before that! ), not to mention air rifle and ammunition.
