...and so far I've found I can buy; - beef burgers made from 87% lean venison - single minced diced beef - 100% dexter beef burgers which contain seasoning - gluten free burgers, that contain rusk I assume they're all just typos

I can work out three of the errors but I'm not sure what 'single minced diced beef' is trying to be. Is this the equivalent of management speak applied to beef retail?

I think eu law allows 100% to be slightly less, to allow for things like seasoning. Slightly odd, but it explains it.

Hmm, so I could, in theory, feed corn to my grassfed animals and still be 100% - I guess it would account for if a passing walker discarded this sandwich crusts into the field, and suchlike.

I always took it to mean that 100% of the meat content was "beef" (well we all got that wrong dint we) & that the seasoning & fillers were extra to that. IE made from 100% beef is not the same as contains 100% beef.
