I don't think it actually gets hot enough to get jam to setting point.

if it does, is that much blazing jam ideal in a kitchen?

i seems to be a big tea urn, but i may be underestimating its potential

my biggest batch ever was about 40 jars, don't know how many litres the pan is

25 lt is a standard fuel or water jerrycan

with a heater , insulation and stuff it would be pretty big in a kitchen

i recon 25 lt would be ok for a domestic still pot though, and it has temp control rather than heat input control which is nice

100C is useless for jam unless they mean for sterilizing made jam but even then a pressure cooker/autoclave is far better

27 litres if true is a hell of a size.
