For those with bunny problems and no help to hand, fear not! I have just designed a simple system for using long nets against the little beggars. The cost will be a fraction of fencing and drop traps, easy to set up, and will provide an end product (pies). Now all I need is to find some ground with a biblical plague of the things to test it. Most of my clients don't have that many left any more

BB some of my earliest memories are of long netting with my pa. I must have been about 4 or 5 and if I close my eyes I can go right back to it. I'm chuffed to say that my sons also enjoy long netting and that they cannot wait until my little niece is old enough to teach. Its good to hear of someone else keeping the old ways alive.

Given the determination of Natural England to frustrate most methods of pest control, and to refuse to enforce the law, I rather think long-netting will be making a comeback.

Great idea.

Edit: Perhaps we could get countryman to show us the lurcher method as well.

Sure. I'll be showing off a few of my wares, including the cold smoking cabinet and the drop traps.

training a dog is easy but one has a cat killer to control on urban walks ,once they get good at hunting they enjoy it i need to chat about wabbits
