I am lucky enough to work in the beautiful vale of Belvoir, Leicestershire. with a huge selection of farm shops big and small, cheese makers and Butchers that still slaughter home bred beef and lamb.. I visit all of these for their various specialities. The one on Eastwell crossroads is very good and has now started a little tea room.

However, i also visit the Farm shop on my way home to Southwell, its called Gonalston farm shop on the A612 near lowdham.it sells locally grown organic fruit and veg hand made cheeses, local wines, beers well, just about everything... its not as cheap as my local farm shops in the vale but it still has a fantastic Butcher who sells their own meat.

well worth a visit if you are in the area or planning to visit the minster.
