Hi All,
Anyone seen any prices yet for local honey. Have some rape seed stuff I've just removed from the ripener and am pondering what to charge a half pound for it this year.
Any ideas?

Well as I've just been told that Nucleus prices were anything from �190 to �230 at last weeks Northern Bee Auction - I would say �5 per lb is still reasonable
I've set up a bait hive but I'm not holding out much hope to catch a swarm so I think it will be next year now before I have any more bees

Ditto here on actual bees. Some robbing an empty hive but no residents that survived the winter
