Is anyone using statcounter getting a 'no data supplied' message today? I got data this morning, but nothin at all now. I have had a couple of other technical problems (logging onto my home page)and wonder if they are linked.

I use this on my web site judy
https://gostats.com/
It gives you a counter on your page and you can look at statistics like
who has been viewing, where from, what browser, how mant a day etc.
I dont really need to see all this but its interesting

Thanks, I will check it out. Statcounter does those things too, but it might offer something else too. It sure is interesting - had someone from Morocco on my site today via a webring. I think stats are quite usefull, at least in the early days, to get some feedback as to what works, what doesn't etc. E.g. discovered that links to other sites can bring trafic to your site through search engines. Two of the hits I had via search engines (since I installed the statcount a few days ago) were someone looking for the site I had a link for. By going to the referring search page I could also see how far up my site ranked, and how far people travel in a search. Had a surprise each time. One entry was the second on the first page (high ranking!!) and the other was at the bottom of the 14th page(showing perseverance of people searching).
By the way, the stats are up and running again.
One of the problems I find with java is the security warnings that come up on the computer. Might put people off?
