I'll get told off if I even look at the seed box at this time of year
Still, this year we've invested in a grow lamp for the citrus and bananas in the spare room (who needs guests when you can have a tool store, mini-jungle and wine and beer cellar instead ) so maybe I can get a bit of a head start. The earliest I think I've planted anything yet is chilis in Jan.
Bit early for me, no cover you see, but my seed order arrived this morning, so a bit of planning will be done over the weekend.

Couple of weeks ago, I cleared some ground to plant some garlic. Didn't use it all, so I had a rush of blood to the head and sowed three lots of oriental veg under those plastic bell cloche thingies. More in hope than anticipation, but blow me if it hasn't all germinated. Might need some fleece if we have a freeze, but I have high hopes of some fresh greens in February!

Just indoors until they have sprouted then as I pot them up I put them out in a greenhouse. I use a hotwater bottle and growers fleece if I think there will be a frost, I have used tea light candles too, Somewhere I've got a parafin heater but I never really got on with it - eagerly waiting Marks instructions though !
