Sorry, no, but do they save time and effort, they look like they might.

I've recently seen one of these being used on the allotment and it allows you to dig without bending, ideal if you can get hold of one??

there are two wolf terrex spades on ebay at the moment ,one is 50 pound the other is 20 pound , i would not pay any more than 25 as i have one of these spades and i only paid 20 for it and it was fairly new, my dad also has one but we would not part with them, they are good once you get used too them, it depends how bad you want one really ,parts are very hard too get hold of the springs tend to snap after a while , but if you do manage to get hold of one, try not to turn over huge sods of earth, a bit at a time is better otherwise the large bottom spring can snap

This rings a bell...there's something about that in this month's TKG. I think it said they are available in Germany.

So not much help then

i have also heard they are available in germany, but somehow they will not import them over here, i phoned wolf and asked them if they would relaunch it but i was told it would cost far to much to put back into production well over 100, these spades where selling for 70 in the 1970's my father tried to buy one but found a secondhand instead they are good though i have had a disc taken out of my back and these spades are brilliant if you have any back problems whilst digging

According to KGM, invented by an amputee, who had difficulty digging with only one leg (well you would, wouldn't you) I'm all for anything that saves backs (particluarly my own) even it does put me out of a job eventually!
