Having thought about it, there is every chance that English knitting is different from Scottish..........

You lot have inspired me. I'm always running out of socks. I am going to the wool shop RIGHT NOW and am going to give it a go.
Prepare to have a good laugh when I post the results on here.

Thanks to you Sarah, I haven't had a fag for nearly 3 hours
However what I didn't know was that making socks was like trying to eat spaghetti with four chopsticks in your hand.
I now have an inch and a half of sock and 4 inches of scarf (to provide me with a little light relief!!)

I knit all mine inside out. That is what my pattern does, anyway.

New one on me - I've been knitting socks for 30 years, as well. I do have a pattern somewhere where you can knit them both at once on the same needles, though...........

The whole sock, or do you just turn the rib?
