Catlover coming out in you again?

Oh, I love cats! But I'm under no illusions that they're anything but selfish, brutal little monsters

dogs want to be your companion and cats demand you be theirs but only on their terms

My two cats and dog were being terrorised by a neighbours cat so I got a cat flap that only lets in our cats. theres a magnetic 'key' on collar. did calm things down tremendously.

We tried these collars, but the little felines kept losing them...

The ultimate deterant for cats is Ferret poo!!!!!

I know it sounds weird, but it works.

A mate of mine has had ferrets for a while, he keeps myself and several other friends cat free by giving us a small amount of the nasty stuff every now and then.

I don't know why but it works.

Hmm. I keep ferrets and I keep cats and ferret poo has no effect at all on my cats I'm afraid.
Surely if it bothered the nasty tom cat, it would also bother the resident cat and make him even more neurotic?
Incidentally, olbas oil drops where he sprays will stop him spraying there. They hate the smell of it. Or oil of cloves will do (but I hate the smell of those and don't mind the olbas)
