I've just been talking to the WBKA people and I'm planning the trip now.

The Welsh Beekeepers convention was a jolly useful expedition for us. We were able to find a suitable local association (Cardiff & South East Wales), talk to traders and other beekeepers.

Roedd y darlith Cymraeg canol-dydd yn bendigedig : cyflwyniad gan ddwy gwenynwyr newydd o Gaerdydd yn trafod eu profiadau gyda chwch yn y Rhath ac ar y rhandir.

The Welsh language mid-day lecture was fantastic : two new beekeepers from Cardiff discussing their experiences with a hive in the Roath area of Cardiff and on the allotment.

It was the Cardiff group we joined at first, nice people We've lapsed these days but if I get time I need to rejoin so we can get some help restocking our hives

Two bee swarms have just moved into our garden in Aderdare centre. Anybody want them or lost them?

Pauline- let me check with my brother, he;s after a swarm I think and I'm only over in Mountain Ash, if he can take them and we can get them into a box, we may be able to sort them for you. ETA: just checked, they aren't ready yet so they can go to someone else
