You have a heck of a henhouse I wish I had one as good as that! We have to make do with a few old outbuilding that came with this place ..... well, we are living on a shoestring. Can anybody suggest a good hen-housing design that could be made from old floorboards???

Hi Simon -

Thanks for the comments - I think Lundy did an excellent job of our hen house and enclosure - considering he has never attempted the like before.

Well, Lundy made ours out of new floorboarding - thought it would keep the hens warmer in the winter than lapboarding. If we'd had a surplus of old floorboarding we would have used that!

Our hen house measures 4ft long by 3ft wide. The frame he made out of 2" x 2". It's raised off the ground. If you want any more details let me know and Lundy will PM you with how he put it together
