I'd like to add my thanks, in general we prefer to haul our own freight, but we are hitting our bandwidth limit currently, and it would be a bit of a pain to upgrade because of something experimental.

Pricey, if you do record this process, please gimme a shout

Though to be honest I normally find that instructional videos aren't nearly as useful as a dozen (or so) well thought out photographs. At least with the piccies I can print them and refer to them as & when neccessary <- just my personal opinion.

Well folks, thought I would get cracking whilst everyone is still interested, the articles should be finished shortly, but will have to wait their turn for publishing, as we are lucky enough to have a huge amount of interesting stuff from interesting people all ready to publish.

Hopefully everyone should soon be able to get from picture 1 to picture 2 fairly easily!.

I'll just be posting pics so the video stuff will be useful, if anyone is keen to collaborate with me on the article then please PM.

12 bore beretta, lucky enough to get a clean kill with both to the head, not a single shot found in the body of the rabbit (will do the pigeon tomorrow)

I've taken a series of pictures of the gutting and skinning, I'll take some of the pigeon as well but if you want to take your own and do the pigeon article it would be great - up to you.

It was, a good sized buck, with plenty of meat on the saddle.

They was even a small amount of fat around the carcass, he must have had a very good winter.

I've kept the offal and will do the same from the pigeon, hopefully I'll be posting details of some really tasty recipes over the weekend.

I can recomend garlic rabbit

1 Rabbit
1/4 pint of olive oil
Seasoned flour to dust the rabbit
1 Garlic bulb - 10 to 12 cloves, roughly chopped
Large glass of dry white wine or dry sherry

Joint your rabbit and marinate in 3 tablespoons of white wine vinegar for 12 to 24 hours.
Pat dry and cover with seasoned flour. Heat the oil and brown the rabbit.
Add the garlic and continue fry for a few mins.
Slosh in a generous amount of dry white wine and let it boil for few mins
Lid on and simmer until rabbit is cooked though and tender (about one hour or as long as it takes)
At then end take the lid off and raise the heat to reduce the sauce if it hasn't already.
Serve with chips or salad and lots of good white bread to soak up the gloopy garlic sauce.
