Mornin'. I use Teatree oil quite a lot as an antiseptic/antiviral on children and horses. Should I be mixing that with a carrier? Luckily none of them have been violently allergic and it probably has been in a sort of carrier as I usually smear some other cream over the top to keep it in place or protect/seal the wound. If so what oil do you recommend as it is used medicinally? I use almond oil with other EO's

We get our oils from https://www.amphora-aromatics.com/
They do retail, but we always get an order of 50 or more together and order from the wholesale section as the prices are about halved. They also do loads of other lovely things. (Mooncups at 15.22)They do pure essential oils, organic, english grown distilled and speciality oils.

I use Amphora too, especially for oils to go in soap as the wholesale prices are indeed very good.

Ruby- as a rule of thumb you should always dilute any essential oil, no matter whether it has a reputation for being 'safe' or not. Sensitisation can develop gradually and if you are ever unlucky enough to become sensitive to an oil you'll have difficulties around it forever more. I understand from other sites and anecdotal evidence that every single oil has some instances of sensitivity associated with it, which is true of course of almost all substances, but the concentrated nature of EOs makes them a higher risk than say using the raw ingredient on the skin.

I like almond oil as a mixer, seems to go well with all the oils I use, plus its easy to get

Hi Peeps

We have to agree that Amphora oils are very good. So much so these are the oils we use for our little excursion into the world of running our own business.

Blatant plug have a look at the link below.

P.S.
Though at present a lot of the Specialities are out of stock they can be acquired
