You might consider constructive bug reports or suggestions for improvement. Criticism will not get you far.

I thought I had made a constructive bug report and the answer I got seemed to imply that I was making a fuss about nothing, so I explained further why I thought it was a problem. If that is taken as criticism then I'm sorry - my aim was to highlight something on the site that seemed to me to be problem.

If full testing of a particular feature is difficult due to technicalities or time constraints, then I respectfully suggest that the DS development team puts a message on relevant pages to that effect with a "report issue" link.

If you look at the thread you will see that a fix was put in on a Saturday within hours of the problem being reported.

The dropdown boxes had been working in the past, at some point plainly a change to the code broke them.

The site is here for all the members and runs on volunteer effort, when things do get sorted rapidly we might not expect much thanks, but it is not encouraging to be whinged at

We don't need a "report issue" button, we have the forum here for people to report issues.

Marigold isn't whinging though, she reported a problem and then replied to a comment. I know things can't be fixed unless they're reported but a look through this thread might put people off reporting issues to be honest.

Anyway, thank you Marigold for reporting it and thank you Jema and BA for fixing them.
