Why I would never own a dog. I view them as farm animals that should live outside. |
If that's how you feel then you don't deserve one.
You'll never have the pleasure of greeting the morning, every morning, with unbridled joy, with a dog to show you how.
You'll never laugh out loud, at your dog, when it knows your down in the dumps. And does a trick or two.
You'll not smile, a forced smile, when your dog comes home covered in fox shit, and is so pleased with itself.
You'll never get a little gash on your forehead that was a demonstration of an overly affectionate dog.
You'll never know, never see, the sparkle in a dogs eye, when its just dug something up, from the mud.
Or from under 3 feet of snow. As my blessed boy just did.
You'll never feel so blessed as to share your time on this planet with a dog that adores you.
You won't ever swim in the summer sea with a smiling dog, at your side, making sure your okay.
And to finish. You'll never be close to tears when you think how much you love your dog, and how much he loves you.
I'm his best friend and his God. He's my best friend and my God.
Three cheers for dogs |
Absolutely.
Right now my stinkers know instinctively the pressure I am under, and when it gets bad they sneak up on me and give me forced cuddles. They are empaths, they think I'm in control but actually it's them that help me stay in that role. |
