archive printing can be done but not with most domestic/office printers. even then it might last a few decades rather than centuries
some domestic/office printers can cope with decent paper but ink options are quite limited.
iirc some of the "photo quality" dyes are fairly stable but until somebody makes a pooter printer than uses stand oil and chemically stable pigments tis best to consider any pooter printed image temporary and make edition ones by traditional means

Advice given elsewhere was run the nozzle cleaning,even if you do it ten times...
cheaper than a new printer and different ink set. Then use it at least once a week.
Just run a test print after the tenth nozzle clean and fourth head clean..it looks like it has saved its skin..this time!
Now to do the serious amount of printing I've got backed up...including cards to sell
