Every time I log in I get asked for my password, even though I tick "remember me".
One of these days I'm going to lose the sticky with my password on it and have to start the whole rigmarole again.
It wasn't that long ago that it was a much simpler procedure.
Why has this happened?

It's a cookie related issue, on my PC generally it just logs in but occasionally it asks for login details again. Jema might be able to shed more light...

Sounds to me like a cookies thing.

You can get your browser to remember your log-in details.

Software wise nothing has changed our end since we "moved" close to a year ago now I guess.
Most people don't have issues, so I would suspect cookie issues at the browser end.

I'm having the same problem, as of today.

I've cleared my DS cookie and it still doesn't remember me, even though I've asked it to and I need to login each time.

Thanks.

Yep, I had the same problem yesterday. Changed my password and it still doesn't log me in as normal.

Mine was being odd recently and appears to have healed itself today. Computers eh? Can't live without them, can't understand them at all.

Did the same to me, I have now selected the remember me thing, so hope it works. Luckily I remembered the password.

You don't work for Facebook do you?

Edit:- It's still not remembering me, just so you know.

It remembered me this morning, so seems to be sorted for me at least.

this is all rather odd, i am using windows, firefox, avast and a few nice subtle gatekeepers

there has been no problem with this here recently, perhaps firefox can use my stored in its vault DS password to compare with DS's vault of passwords regardless of how pat and the cat deliver the message

a while ago i had log in issues, re setting my profile details sorted it
