I've been using the Avon Skin so Soft Dry oil and I have been fairly bite free. It's got citronella in it, which I actually hate the smell off but for some reason it doesn't smell like citronella... and yet, seems to work.

the active ingredient is a preservative/formulation additive but it is also a decent blackfly repellant in other products. duel use , tis why the "fierce brit" has no flies on him and lovely skin

i was an avon rep for a while, quite a giggle but not a good business model to work unless you really go for it full time in which case it might be ok if you focus on facilitating online orders to reduce the doorstepping once the market is stirred by some direct stuff.

i had a few father dougal "milk" moments so it could be a perfect job for pat mustard

I had heard it was good, and as I think I have got to 'that age' where I need some added moisturiser, I think I will try it. I think SIL is still an Avon rep, so will try her.

So where do I acquire the stuff that stops me getting bitten by the whole of the Welsh Nation's horsefly population, and what do I ask for? Does Avon get sold in Boots for example? I have passed the stage where I care what I smell like, I just want the rest of my life to be comfortable!!
There is a plus side of no lotions potions-you get to kill a lot of them, but most seem to get through my arm waving and slapping defence methods.

Or ask your ladies at the library. One of them is bound to know who the rep is.
