Certainly useful. As still the best part of 40% of electricity generation is by gas, whittling away at generation is certainly one way to go. The National Grid was a real game changer, and feed in via home solar could be the next one.

another tweak
but every % is useful, several percent is rather good if it scales up, is reasonably priced and is fairly long-lasting

Sounds useful, but perovskite is apparently a bit tricky in several ways. Certainly a way forward, and no doubt further development to come.
