I've used these guys for a few weeks now and been happy (with the exception of getting dates one week which I moaned about) They can do general groceries and bread, and are starting a meat scheme. The veg quality is good and mainly local, fruit is coming from further afield atm, but given the time of year that's a given unfortunately.

Area covered is around Cambridge and down to the herts border (we're in Royston)

We use Riverford - https://www.riverford.co.ukand think they are very good. Not the most local to us, but delivering to the door is wonderful for us, as is the ordering on the web. such is life when you work full time...

I am just going back to riverford as abel and cole seem to just leave the box on the doorstep at 7am,so i find the box teeming with ants. Also there is allways a few rotten items at first i just thought it was a blip but this week i had five rotten potatoes , after a while you do get fed up of calling them up to get a small refund credit... so riverford i,m back to you

Boxfresh Organics supply Shropshire and around (we're in Powys), and apparently now do Chester and Wolverhampton.

I like the quality of their stuff (and they do flour etc., too) and their service is excellent; but I am concerned about the airmiles the fruit/veg travels - it's one of the things I am trying to cut down.

I'm sure I added this to the thread ages go - but I can't see it here. Clearly going mad .

There are quite a few delivery bods around here; we've used Own Online quite often and they're very good - emphasis on locally produced organics and fair trade, with minimal packaging and a three-pound delivery charge for orders under fifty quid.

We also used Riverford a couple of times, but the boxes - even the large ones - never seemed to account for people who expect veggies to form the main portion of their meals! Either that or we're just greedy... Probably that, come to think of it...

Then there's also Rod and Ben, who do veggie boxes and more, and Wholefood, which does all sorts of slaver-inducing goodies.
