thease are the first attempts at my new line in earings - they are called spinners cos you sort of spin them onto your ear from the back round the spirals.

They are based on an earring i had years ago - but i have jazzed them up with swarovskis, and the twisted ones are sterling silver.

I'm experimenting with diferent beads and wires, and different designs .

I'd like some feedback before i unleash them on the public!!

They are nice. I would prefer the plain one. I don't much like Swarovskis. But that's just me. plenty of people do.

BTW (I wouldn't use that sig in decent company with no avatar to explain it!)

Interesting design. And quite difficult to lose out of the ear.

I really like the ones with the swarovskis.
I would wear them, but probably not the plain ones.
It is all a matter of individual taste.

I think they look great. I'd have to be reassured that they didn't hurt to get in or out but then, I'm a total wimp I like plain and swarovski - not usually a fan of swarovski but I think it works on those.

they are easy to get in once you get the trick - this is what they look like on - the twisted spiral ones...

They dont hurt - you just start at the end of the spiral and keep feeding them through from the BACK of your ear until you get to the hook - you need a mirror to start with!

...er they are in my ear hole i dont use cos its pulling through - they arent that heavy!! its more of a slit than a hole now - i have another further back

I can't wear earrings any more, but I'd buy a necklace or similar with them on. I think they're very pretty, but a bit big (but then, I tiny, and things look out of proportion on me) I think you'd have to be wearing them to show people you can get them in and out easily, though.

I like the one's with beads on, lovely.
I always intend to wear earrings but never seem to get around to it. I'm a bracelet and anklet person.

like those a lot! I'm the sort that worries about wearing some of the dangly sorts of earrings when I'm doing active stuff for fear of loosing them, but I can see they'd not go anywhere. I like dangly earrings in general.

Like both plain and beaded. Is the wire quite thin? The piercing I'd put them in (there is a choice admittedly) has had more wire earrings in than studs and the hole has got smaller I'm sure.

the wires are thinner on the silver than the copper. They are no thicker than a standard ear wire. - I can do them in any size wire cos i hammer the hook to make it stronger - the spirals get a bit squashed in thinner wire but are easy to pull straight.

The ones i am wearing are the biggest - i can make them smaller - the copper ones are about half the size. Getting smaller ones in is slightly more difficult but you just turn them steadily until you feel a slight resistance - push bit harder and bob's your uncle!

Good feedback so far - thanks a lot! I think they could be a good line...might have to include instructions and diagram with them though - its really easy to do but you have to see it done I guess...Ill wear them at the craft fairs so I can show people!!

Keep commenting - i love this site!!

I like them, although my holes have got big over the years so I wouldn't chance it. I can only wear small sleepers or studs really.

They do look akward to get in.

They're fun, but are they a bit bigger than most people would be likely to buy? Not wanting to go onto a downer with them here, but how many women regularly wear really big earrings?
