I had an email this morning to say I'd got a message, but when I clicked on the link and got to the box, there was no new message! I think this has happened before.
Can anyone explain?

The same happens on the site. The message box turns red to show an unread message, but if the sender has deleted it before you got there the cupboard will be bare.

Subtle, in an obvious kind of way.

Edit: It's (spam) gone now but that was so bad it was funny...
