plant shop delux

in places where i can get the ventilation required my home has looked like their shop but had more spp(over 200 iirc)

they have a nice variety of spp, maybe the epiphytes and bromeliads are hiding

not food for the most part, medicine at times(both sorts) and rather nice to live amongst

i rather miss my jungle with a carpet and sofa but not much "difficult"wildlife

do you not have any houseplants now?

I dont have many, most of my plants are outside or in the gh. But I did sow a mango stone a few weeks back and now have a mango plant.

an african violet and basil the basil, just two at the mo as my cacti /succulent trough is outside for the summer, iirc that has a further 5 or 6 spp at the mo

not many , this house would need both heat and light and ventilation works to do plants in quantity

outside is just as challenging

this years tomatoes are amusingly dismal specimens

Shame about your tomatoes. We have quite a few house plants of varying success, but I know I don't keep them as well as I should. We have what was a large fig under a north facing Velux window, and having coppiced it, it is doing very nicely now. We had another one, a cutting of that, but that was under a south facing Velux, and it was a bit too much for it, so it is now in a rather more shaded east facing one.
