to get best needs a decent amount
i do need to find source, gulp
best means best

all mine is not my style

as far as saffron goes i am cornish diaspora and saffron is a thing that needs doing well

after almost a decade i have none left and i will not buy a few strands of orange something for a tenner, the stuff on sale in shops etc is carp

not a crowdfund thing, would folk like a bit of what i get at cost plus sensible to cover costs?

anybody got good contacts?

thanks for the offer, if you have some use it

it has been about ten years since i got some of the last out of northern iran before sanctions kicked in

even well stored it is best used as fresh as poss but old good stuff is better than new low quality stuff

perhaps some has reached the ME or Byzantium

they will still be growing it as little else will grow in that soil and climate, finding it is the problem, a bit of a howard marks type problem perhaps

the spanish, turkish and assorted other places saffron is ok, the stuff from the stans is better than spanish, the stuff i am after has been world champ for millennia
