I'm working on an Ethical Statement for my new online shopping thingy, and I'm a bit stuck for inspiration. I'm squashing 'privacy' and 'ethics' into the same page mostly because I havent worked out how to add extra pages yet, but whilst it basically says what I want it to, I'm a bit concerned it sounds a bit happy clappy and unprofessional. Any helpful thoughts?

Where possible we work with local materials, where this is not practical we do our best to ensure that we have excercised good judgement to choose sustainably sourced materials and to limit waste of those components that are harder to track to source.

Sounds good to me, I prefer things kept quite sweet and simple.

I suggest you split the first paragraph up and put a heading in saying "Privacy" with the bit up to "We never share this information for any reason whatsoever", then have a new paragraph and a separate heading "Ethical Policy" starting with "We are also committed...."

Perhaps the last paragraph should also have a separate heading, such as "Company Ethos" bit naff, but something like that? Do you have a returns policy - that should probably go with this last paragraph too.

Otherwise, looks good - I'd buy from you

Makes sense, now looks like this (warning, ultra draft site in progress! Many squashed pictures and incomplete sections)
