I've done a bit of a bodge job on making Rob's site a bit cleaner looking, any views? And can any redo his squiggledy logo thing for me? Just need a cleaner, clearer version.

This is his current look:

I'm not particularly struck on the colour scheme, but I'd suggest the layout is better. The buttons/links at the top of the old layout (news, home, contact etc) made the layout look very "bitty" IMHO.

Yeah, my main concern was clarity which I think I've achieved. Feel free to play with it.

I would suggest that the B&W picture needs to be matched to the site colour scheme. being a technophobe I have no idea if that's possible though.

I think it looks like it's been left out in the sun too long

I think the "Rosewood Farms" heading would look better a bit lower down like it is in the original one. It doesnt look quite right going through the ewe's face.

Also a bit of colour would liven it up a bit.

Otherwise looking good

In relation to marketing and impact (whilst the new design is being developed) a snappy tag line would help the surfer immediately identify what Rosewood Farm was all about - rather than having to read the preamble.

In other words: hook them in from the first few seconds glance at the site if possible....?

That works for me....clear and gives out a strong opening message. I personally would use it on all your advertising.

I like the orange as a contrast. Will RobR ?
The 'farming with nature' works for me, too
Is that dot below 'with' supposed to be there ?

So do I... but... the monochrome(esque) visuals with a coloured accent speak of political blog to me rather than organic farm with online shop.... Just a thought.

Agree with above two comments, though I feel like I've been Tangoed.
