This is on our local Freecycle

I have a 5 year old Golden Guernsey X goat and her neutered kid looking for a home. She is unsuitable for breeding from because she has a damaged teat. It has fully healed now but will continually leak milk if she is bred from again. Both have very friendly inquisitive characters and love children and cuddles.

That goat isn't free! If it's unable to give milk the goat, and it's kid, are really rather expensive pets who will take the room/feed/manhours of something productive.
A responsible owner would keep it to rear the kid and then either retire it her/himself or have it slaughtered. The poor beast will likely end up at an auction and be sold for meat anyway. These irresponsible people make me so angry!

My white pony, named Blue (as he was a blue-grey at the age of 3), was Free To Good Home! He was left behind after a divorce!! He's now about 6 or 7, built "generously", broken in as a leading-rein pony, but one day I may get him to pull a brush harrow (first things first) and although he is but just over 12 hands, he is definitely a weight-carrier, so I might even ride him. However I feel he needs to be ridden by someone who hasn't had 2 hip replacements first, just to try him out!

Shame I didnt know earlier in the year, my daughter was home from uni and has spent the summer working on a farm breaking ponies and riding newly broken horses. She would proberbly give it a go - shes mad enough - dont know where that comes from.
