Hi,

I found a pair of these earlier. I picked them thinking they were early Ceps but the pores are quite yellow as is the stem (slightly). They were in a mixed deciduous/pine wood next to the pines. They are around 2.5 inches in height and cap diametre.

Any ideas?

Cheers

TM

Hmmm,

I figured it would be a difficult one. Sorry but the base is in the bin somewhere as I didn't think I'd need it. I did cut one up and there's no colour change. I'll get a cross section picture on later. Thanks for the help.
