I moved my 3 ewes yesterday, to a different field (on my parent's property).
A neighbour's tup broke into them last night and had his way with one of them
So now we may have one or two lambs late in February with the rest arriving mid April hopefully.
So annoying - not only because she will need to be watched around the time she is due, but also because we will have one or two lambs ready for market long before the others. Plus the inconvenience of feeding one ewe earlier than the rest etc..
I am not too happy about all this. I don't think I've ever said this before but I hope by some miracle she hasn't 'caught' but because I don't want her to have, you can guarantee she will!!
