The olive oil that is produced in this area is very, very good. It's exceptional.
For the first time someone has organized a cooperative. They intend to sell it by the bottle.

I have been asked to sell it, me being the token English bloke, to the shops in England.

I don't know where to begin.

Any and all ideas are welcome.

Please help me.

Thanks

Are you talking very small quantities? What sort of price? Would a friendly farmer's market stall holder be the way to go?

Any farmers market run by FARMA won't take it unless you can get in as a guest producer, as all produce has to be made in the county and by the producer. It might be worth trying as a guest producer. Otherwise small but higher price outlets might be the way to go. Good quality farm shops perhaps.

I think that it would be a minimum of 20,000 litres for this, the first year.
More may sign up next year.

Thankfully I'm not in charge of selling it all!

Just as much as I can to England.

It may not be helpful but a quick google finds this article
https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/features/the-10-best-olive-oils-8704064.html

I would try contacting some of the smaller specialist sellers on there such as Carluccios and ask them if you can send them a sample for them to try and ask their opinion of it.
Ideally you just need some UK suppliers to take it on in the kind of volumes you can supply. Can you make additional claims for your product such as cold pressed, organically grown, family farmed etc?

Thanks for the link,

it is all cold pressed and family farmed. We can't brag about it being organically grown as, even though it is, everyone would have to pay a fortune for the 'ticket'.

It's harvest time soon, in the next few weeks, ours are looking great, which is exciting.

The trees are as full as we have seen them

Sounds like you need to look for top end, independent deli's - selling direct to the outlet (rather than to suppliers of ultimate outlet) will earn you much more and give you more control, too.
Round our way, a lot of smaller retail/caf type outlets rely on facebook for publicity, so maybe use that as a search tool?

It seems to me there is a gap in the market for an "Organic-ish" ticket.

I did think of deli's. I didn't though think of facebook, what a good idea.
Thanks
