I'm going to bed soon because I don't want to be told off by Mary-Jane. I'll turn the lights off then. Does that count?

She posted telling everyone to go to bed early so she could go fishing or something. And to remember to change our clocks. So I am.

Swot.

I'm drinking too much slightly flat Poundhouse cider and wondering if it's worth getting up for the car boot sale in the morning ...

Well, people aren't going to turn up at your house asking to buy drawings of broccoli, you've got to go where the market is...

Jeeze, no wonder you wanted to borrow my felt tips. Have you got Leo and Nenna on some sort of piece rate colouring in scheme?

For such a nice idea, seems a shame that no-one knew about it.

I keep intending to have a weekend without electric sometime (on purpose).

@ gil

Don't the 'not on purpose' times make up for it, though?

In terms of not using electric, yes.
Scottish Power have just paid me compensation for the last power cut.

But not for being able to plan for a period of time - as in decide on nice food that can be cooked on a camping gas/ spirit stove / woodburner (and not just baked beans or tinned soup); plan things to do; etc.
