Overrun at our field (destroying the hedges) and far too many to scoff so anyone in the malpas/whitchurch area want some free bunnies to eat? (all shot with air rifle so no breaking teeth on lead shot) Seems a waste not to use them

Great offer - I normally have to pay for bunnies! Is this an ongoing surplus? We go up to Manchester every now and again, but probably won't do again until towards the end of January.

seems to be, randy blighters FIL wants to gas them but I just want to get them down to a manageable number, see a new litter at least once a week, I am shooting about 2-3 a day at the mo and need to step it up otherwise the FIL will be getting out the gas pellets, not nice really, will have to have a word about that

Judith: bring some back for me! Seriously, I'm near Judith and would be really interested in a few brace of buns, so a joint pick-up would make a lot of sense! We rarely see rabbits here, just a few hares and, fortunately, no-one seems to want to take them.

whats the score with keeping bunnies fresh? Will be skinned but I can't butcher to save my life, bit hit and miss (literally ) Do they freeze well?

You can hang up bunnys in this weather in a shed or out building with their skins on for a good few days ..just as long as they are paunched .. and yup they freeze well ...

If you're paunching and skinning them, are you available on Friday, as I'm in Macclesfield, which is, like very local, and I could relieve you of a couple, or three... (I'm in Newcastle on Tuesday, Cambridge on Wednesday, if anyone wishes to abuse my cheap courier service....)

I travel up to manchester about 6 times a year so would it be possable to contact you when i am next coming up to see if you have any?? dont mind frozen but have only paunced and skinned one in my life many years ago so wouldn't have a clue how to do it

I stand corrected, having read the articles in question i feel fully conversant with paunching and skinning the rabbit. I am over my brothers tommorow and my young nephews have a bunny called Maxwell and should anything go wrong with the turkey............
