fixed,

Sorry about that, I am being a little inattentive basically because there is a need to completely redo the mobile access using the css ideas and I don't have the time to get onto it.

Well the Blackberry OS6 browser is much better than previous incarnations. Although the OS + browser combined do seem to tax a phone with only 256Mb RAM.

I find being able to use ds on mobile handy as so far this month the local travelling community have stolen the villages broadband cable 3 times. We just get phone and internet reconnected and 2 days later tis gone again. Perhaps bt will invest in fibre optic cable soon. It must be costing a fortune to replace every week.

Having said that, I did have several tabs open. Just one or two tabs and it seems perfectly usabubble.

Sorry if I've missed it but when you turn 2mobile browsing off" how do you turn it back on?

Clearing cookies works but it's a little drastic.

The option is hidden. Top left, in green text, under the green border.

Thanks, I remember you saying something like that before but I couldn't find the green boarder. I have now and it works, slightly confused as the green boarder only shows on the mobile device.

...and snappy. A test of browse of DS and BBC News is as fast as Firefox on my PC

RIM have harped on that the OS7.1 browser is 40% faster than 6 (wot my 9700 is running). But the 9900 has more CPU oomph of course.

I shall have to compare with Nell's OS7 Curve when she gets home.
