I spend quite a bit of my time working out in the woods teaching forestry; whilst out this week there were lots and lots of mushrooms, but two types in particular seemed to dominate. So, to aid identification I decided to video them and then check once I got home.
Now, I loathe mushrooms but BahamaMama rather likes them, and our checks led us to conclude that we were looking at edible mushrooms (Parasol Mushroom and Common Puffball - which our books indicated were OK to eat).
I bought a few examples of each home, but before BahamaMama digs into her huge Parasol mushrooms we wondered whether it would be wise to see if others agree with our identification; so I've posted the video for you to watch (just over 1 minute long)...
