Mmm.
Not convinced that feeding cattle junk food will give me healthy cattle to eat. Wouldn't pigs do better on it?

Feeding junk food to anyone is a recipe for disaster.

This time they seem to be urging retailers to have their own cattle & instead of selling on the waste-products they want them to give away the food to the needy.

Decades? Centuries! Since forever! The practice was only stopped after the most recent foot and mouth epidemic (wasn't it?).

Only for post-consumer waste.

Where is the logic in that?
What might consumers do to it to give it a greater risk.
