The Doctor is masculine in my mind - although I'm enough of a fan to have given whomever they'd chosen a go. Can't understand people judging before it's even been aired!

I shared the link below 'Malcom Tucker IS Doctor Who' on FB and one of my American relatives responded that she preferred the older series

I thought it just went on for too long. BW enjoyed it though, and I suppose he's the target audience.

Nah. It's a kid's programme. No reason to change that because the actor had a sweary role in a previous job.

I thought the Christmas special was better than the 50th anniversary doubrey. I was underwhelmed by the latter.

Snowmen, Christmas trees and Santa onsies, skiing down the Alps did make me chuckle.
