Shrooming has been good this spring. Plenty around and they came early.

Yes apart from one. Hidden in there is a decaying common morel (the first one I have found without your help) found in mixed wooland under ash. Unfortunately it is the only one I could find. I will go back and look for more at the weekend.

Wow! Great photos! This is my first post here! I've been a mushroom fan and hunter since 1984 (I was 12 then).. and in all that time I have only found 6 morels. SIX. Imagine my envy to see a basketful like that!

So, I'm a bit obsessed with morels, probably because I never see any. I live in Sheffield, does anyone have any tips, or even better location suggestions I could try? (Even vague location descriptions would be gratefully recieved!) Cheers all, and happy hunting!
