Caught this tonight at 8.00pm,the first of four programs. Interesting for a new beek.

We watched this too. Not bad at all. Seemed to be over really quick though. Maybe after the 4th episode her indoors might just be convinced we need a hive or two.

Have you seen the film, "More than Honey" ? It's a bit sentimental but fascinating nevertheless.

Popped into a small-holding in Norfolk last Sunday to get some frames for my new hive. The owner was John Everett, the Master bee keeper in Martha's current Bee series. Had an interesting chat with him about it. Seems there was a little bit of a battle to get things done 'the right way' and not just consider it entertainment. Martha herself was supposed to be lovely.

John was a lovely guy as well. I bought over �100 of stuff, but only had a few pounds cash on me. Even though we had never met, and that I lived in the next county 50 miles away, he trusted me to return in a week and pop the cash in through the letterbox.
