I (In my capacity as The Plough Arts Centre) could reach 190 000 people within 20km of my business if I advertised with them. Yeah, right.

I just want to know where they're all hiding. I can only assume that their algorithm uses the average population density of the UK or something.

Assuming you don't live within 20km of the coast, I make it 108000.

Halve that then.
50000 ?

I'm bordering 3 areas, so 'averaging' density figure, I reckon I could reach 250000. Not that I want to.

I reckon about 70k tops. *If* everybody was on fb and the ad was shown to them all.
We won't do it whatever. I just thought it was an interesting insight into on-line advertising claims.

They keep telling me I can reach 260,00 potential guests close to Lenault. Like 260,000 people either live near Lenault and even if they did they would hardly want a holiday in Lenault they already live there

When I do FB adds I target my audience and the forecast number of views is very accurate. I can see the number change as I alter the specs of to who & where I want the add to be shown.
