There's going to be a number of new arrivals to our smallholding this coming Saturday. I've bought six farmyard type geese and a dozen four month old Welsh Harlequin ducks.
Try as I might, I've failed to locate any Brecon Buff geese,( which is the breed I really wanted) but my crossbred geese should do just fine as the grass control operatives.
I've always fancied having some WH's on the place and I'm dead chuffed to have found them just a few miles up the road from us and at a reasonable price.
Of course, there will be photos just as soon as they arrive.
