which is a bit odd cos the ings cows are about half a mile away

it sounded like calving moo noises

they are beyond a cattle grid but a bit of wading in the river or a broken open gate could bypass that

i wonder if somebody is going to get a garden surprise in the morning

no trace on the ground or in the local media and the moos are where they were (uncounted by me) so either it was drifting noise or somewhere there is a evader
